21 Day Challenge!

“Some artists shrink from self-awareness, fearing that it will destroy their unique gifts and even their desire to create. The truth of the matter is quite opposite.”

James Broughton

We view the world through the lens of our beliefs and with that we carry preconceived ideas about people, places, finances, career and the way we act. This lens carry’s our deep held beliefs and causes us to see things the way we want to see them and not the way they are. It’s not what you see it’s what you’ve decided to believe.

By changing your thinking,
You change your beliefs.

When you change your beliefs,
You change your expectations.

When you change your expectations,
You change your attitude.

When you change your attitude,
You change your behaviour.

When you change your behaviour,
You change your performance.

When you change your performance,
You Change Your Life!

Only 2 fears we experience are natural. The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises, every other fear has been learnt. On that basis If it can be learnt it can be unlearnt. It is time to form a new behaviour and put a new neural groove in your mind.

We are what we are due to the choices we have made. The choices we make are effected by how our script was written and who wrote on it? Who has marked our slate?

Our behaviour is a function of our decisions not our conditions. Every child is born with a clean slate, we call it innocence. Then our slates get marked, both positive and negative. Like Actors who follow a script, a narrative in order to fulfill the writer’s story. We follow our own individual script to fulfil our story for some we devastating consequences. Our attitude and feelings are influenced by our conscious and subconscious script, our programming, ideas, beliefs, intellectual opinions of the world around us. They are not necessarily based on fact, knowledge, or truth but can be a perceived as reality depending on whose lens we are looking through. Everyone wants you to see through their eyes, the narrative they want you to comply with.

When something controls your attitudes and feelings, it controls the quality of life you will experience. It is this system of programming and control that regulates what we do, and it literally limits us.

Limiting beliefs will always damage us from achieving our divine purpose. Limiting simply means to restrict, it’s like running a race with a ball and chain around your ankle. These beliefs weaken our immune system physically and spiritually. When you hear that negative voice saying ‘I can’t,’ use the Law of substitution and say instead, ‘I can.’ The stories we tell ourselves form our identity, dictate what we believe we can and cannot do. Take back the remote control for your life. The picture you see is the picture you will be!

We are all born with a clean slate a blank script. Your script may have had some harsh things marked upon it, some say nature verses nurture, it’s time to flip it.

We need to turn the negativity upside down, flip the script. Reset your frequency to a positive energy output.

Hip-hop culture is built on flipping previously existing material in new and innovative ways. From break dancers repurposing discarded flooring, to graffiti artists using trains and alleyways as canvases, hip-hop has always had, a “philosophy of taking things and transforming things. Taking nothing and making something!

It’s time to Flip the Script. Flipping the script refers to turning the tables, doing the unexpected, or deviating from the norm.
We need to stop letting others define us by what they say or how they treat us, they will always limit us according to their limited knowledge of us. Only you have the innate ability to dig deep inside and draw upon strength no one, not even you knew you had.

It’s time to flip the script, focus on being a better person. Have clear goals and develop your core values. It takes 21 days to re-programme your thought process from negative to a positive if done consistently in that time. You can improve your performance by changing the mental pictures you have of yourself.
